Hostel terms and conditions

The agreement comes into effect upon confirmation of the customer's inquiry by SILO by TALENT GmbH. Confirmation of the booking is made in writing through a channel chosen by SILO by TALENT. The contracting parties are SILO by TALENT GmbH and the customer.

Requests for changes to a confirmed booking will be implemented in the best possible way. If additional costs are incurred as a result of the change, these will be charged to the client.All changes regarding number of persons, rooms, or dates of stay are subject to availability. The customer can cancel the booking without additional costs, provided that this is done at least 24 hours before the arrival date. In this case, SILO by TALENT GmbH will refund all sums already paid by the customer. If the client has booked with special cancellation conditions, these will take precedence.

If the customer does not arrive (no show), the booking will be cancelled. In this case, the customer must pay the total amount of the booking. SILO by TALENT GmbH reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to circumstances beyond the control of SILO by TALENT GmbH. In this case, all payments made by the customer will be refunded by SILO by TALENT GmbH.

SILO by TALENT GmbH may cancel a booking at any time if the payment details provided by the customer are invalid and the customer does not provide alternatives. Bookings must be guaranteed with a credit card. SILO by TALENT GmbH reserves the right to authorize the deposited card prior to arrival. All reservations are charged in the local currency CHF and are based on current international exchange rates.

All bookings are always published inclusive of VAT. The obligatory guest tax is not automatically included in the total bill and must be paid separately at check-in.

The house rules are part of the terms and conditions. In the event of non-compliance with the house rules and the refusal to follow the staff's announcements, SILO by TALENT GmbH reserves the right to terminate the accommodation contract without notice and prohibit the guest from entering the building.

Any commercial use of the rooms as well as drug consumption is strictly prohibited and will result in the guest being expelled. Services that have already been paid for will not be refunded.

By making a booking request, the client agrees to the terms and conditions of SILO by TALENT GmbH. The area of responsibility is Basel (Switzerland). The invalidity of one or more provisions shall in no way affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
