Check-in time?

You can check into your room or bed from 15:00.

Is it possible to check in earlier?

Of course: Ask for an early check-in. Depending on availability, we offer this for 15% of the room rate.

Check out time?

Late risers can stay in their room until 12:00 am.

Can I stay longer?

Of course: Ask for a late check-out. Depending on availability, we offer this for 15% of the room rate.

Difference between 4-bed Dorms and Deluxe Doubles?

4-person Dorms: 2 bunk beds for a total of 4 people with shared bathroom.

Deluxe Doubles: 1 double bed for 2 persons with private bathroom.

Will other guests stay with me if I book the 4 Dorm?

No, when you book the 4 dorm, you get the room just for you.

How does the cleaning work in the Deluxe Doubles?

So that you don't pay for something you don't need: We have taken the cleaning out of the overnight price. This means for you: When you arrive, you will of course receive a cleaned room. If you stay longer than one night, you tell us when booking or checking in whether you want the room cleaned daily. Your advantage: You only pay for the cleaning you actually need. This only applies to the Deluxe Doubles.

Do I get bed linen for my bed in the 4-person dorm?

If you want to, we will be happy to provide you with a high-quality down comforter and a down pillow including covers for a minimal extra charge at check-in. You are also welcome to stay with your sleeping bag. You will always get a fixed sheet.

Do I have internet access at SILO?

Yes, of course: Our highspeed WLan is free of charge for all guests and in the whole house.

Tuesday- Saturday

Where is the reception?

The Welcome Desk with Self Check-in Kiosk is located directly at the entrance. If no one is around, you are welcome to contact our staff in the restaurant. They will help you with any wishes and questions.

Do you offer parking?

When have no parking at the SILO. There are two public carparks close by, one is at Baleo Erlenmatt just 3 minutes by foot and the other at the Badischer Bahnhof approximately 15 miuntes by foot from our hostel.
